"what's that supposed to be?"
and
"it looks like something the cat coughed up."
I swore it would look better once it was ON something, so here's hoping it does:
Supplies: paper from Sassafrass; cream adhesive lace from Hero Arts; leaf die from Memory Box; Olive Vine Glimmer Spray - Tattered Angels; Peeled Paint distress ink; Studio G sentiment; brad from stash; stick pins made following Yvonne's fabulous directions here.
I am loving those stick pins - I'd like to find some longer corsage-style pins but these ones will do for now! And I have a LOT of beads left over from previous crafting explorations, so I could conceivably make a lot more of these. At least a million.
Well, that was a nice little break from Christmas. Now back into that mess ;)

Jessi

Gorgeous flower and I love your pins too!!
It doesn't look like something the cat coughed up to me! LOL. Very, very pretty. I will have to give them a try.
LOL!!! You just gotta love those husbands when they come up with something like that!! Sounds just like something mine would have said too!

Aren't they just a piece of work... mine offers his opinion sometimes.. but it's getting less and less, I think he's learnt something! I think it's just gorgeous, what would he know anyway lol!
So beautiful! Love your card! have a nice week-end, hugs, Karin
I learned a long time ago to NEVER show anything creative to a MAN! It's beautiful and DOES not look like anything the cat coughed up!
That crochet trim is beautiful too! Wow!
Yes, I do believe that showing your husband your sweet little creation may have been a mistake. Honestly! Something the cat coughed up? Not even funny. (Well, maybe a tad bit funny, but not at all applicable.) I love the fabulous accent you made with it. Those beads on the pins make it all look so fancy!!
LOVE it Jessi, FAB use of the Sassafras paper & love your flower :)
