I look ridiculous! |
I look so ridiculous even the scaredy-cat came to laugh. |
You can't possibly expect me to go outside in this. |
Stop laughing. It's not funny! |
I had something in mind, but I'm going to save it for tomorrow. All I can think about right now is my warm coffee cup & how good it feels on my cold fingers...and the heat coming out of the vent warming up my purple toes...and Riley's cozy baby blanket tucked around my lap. So, today I'm grateful for warmth, for the knowledge that, although I do have to go stand around outside for about an hour and a half soon, afterwards I'll be coming home to my cozy little house.
And, that somewhere in the basement hides a bag full of hats, mitts, and scarves, that I need to haul out & get washed ASAP before we get frostbitten!

What gorgeous floral cards, Jessi! I LOVE how you coloured that purple flower. It's amazing! Such cute photos of Abby, too. I can't believe how cold it is there. We had a bit of a rainy, cold spell but it got warm again and I started sweating just running after Damian on his bike this morning. Ick. LOL
ReplyDeleteSnowing? Gasp! It's about 85 here (we've had record temps). I bet that was a rude awakening. Abby's outfits are hilarious...especially the first one that's "cropped." I love how the first card matches her raincoat. The flowers are *so* beautiful and the colors are, too!
ReplyDeleteSNOW?? You've got to be kidding!! 'Course, we are getting our very first frost warning of the season for tonight, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Looks like we'll be going back up into the 80s (that's Fahrenheit, as I'm sure you know--otherwise we'd be most of the way to boiling in Celsius!) over the weekend, though. Mother Nature is having some mood swings!
ReplyDeleteAbby is adorable in her new clothes. I LOVE these colorful, flowery cards! (Those microbeads are an awesome touch). And I'm so glad that the card made it to you--hope it didn't pop off too many of its buttons. :)
We are running our air conditioning during the days right now. This is WRONG, Mother Nature. Just WRONG!
ReplyDeleteCute cats and dog, and fab cards!
beautiful cards!!!
ReplyDeletewe are still in the 80's, i was just telling my hubby how nice it was out FINALLY. I can't imagine how cold that is for you. Abby is just the sweetest little thing. Too cute. Keep warm!
YES!! My weekend is complete!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAddison took one look at these pictures and said she is fine staying in the south where it snows every five years, thankyouverymuch.
Love the teenage-girl-at-the mall belly-baring look of the sweatshirt (especially paired with those styling booties)!
The button and tabs on the raincoat make it so totally adorable and the look of resignation to her sad humiliating fate in the last picture is priceless.
Plus some fabulous floral cards to boot! Best post ever! :)
Abby's face is priceless! Love her Flashdance crop top! Atti and Jem say she looks pretty sexy... Rowr! :)
ReplyDeleteLove these gorgeous card especially how you cut the flower in the second one. :)
Gosh! You are so funny to dress your dog up - handsome? pretty? Love both of his outfit!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards with lovely flowers!
