This week's edition of Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger ends tonight, March 11, so hopefully you have some time to get your craft on today! The photo Cath chose this week is a gorgeous one, as per usual:
I was inspired by the bowl. I used a piece of copy paper cut with an oval Nestie as a mask, and stamped the flourishes around it & embossed them in gold, and then added the sentiment & embossed it as well. This is much more CAS than my usual (and no patterned paper? GASP!) but I love how it turned out!
Supplies: cardstock from PTI (From JJ!); standard oval Nesties (for masking); Versamark & Pirate Gold EP; swirl stamps from Autumn Leaves; sentiment stamp from Hampton Arts; teal rhinestones from $store |
'scuse me, whatcha doing? |
Hello! Good morning! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT YOU AREN'T PETTING ME? |
OK, I'll go be sad while you take your stupid pictures. FINE. |
Lots of challenge posts coming up - it was a busy & productive card-making week, knowing that while the kids are on break it won't be!
xoxo,
Jessi
Hey Jessi! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
ReplyDeleteYou totally rocked this!! I love it! Question about your embossing... do you stamp all the images and then put powder on them all or put powder on as you go? I'm always afraid of the ink drying on me...
ReplyDeleteAnd Abby is hilarious! Luis came in here to see what I was laughing at. I love that last picture. Atti and Jem do that to me all the time - "How can paper and glue be more interesting than us??"
WOW Lady, you have been busy this week. This card is AWE-SOME!! I totally love it. Bravo
