Yes, Virginia, I'm Inspired! Take One

I know I'll be back to play again before Virginia's challenge ends June 13 - rainbow colours? Me? The problem seems to be taking the time to MAKE the cards, instead of just having the ideas rattling around. So, here's my card:
Supplies: miscellaneous cardstock scraps;
Paper Smooches stamps (from Barb, the sweetest gal, even if she DOES drink Diet Pepsi...)
Sizzix label dies;
Palette Noir ink; Adirondack Salmon dye ink; water brush;
Martha Stewart markers

I just wanted this to show the top layer, edged in red, and popped up on foam tape.
The fact that now it makes me think of a raised middle finger, let's ignore that, lol!
Here are the photos Virginia's daughter took of her brother's musical friends - how fun are these?

Like I said previously, "Yes Virginia, I'm Inspired" runs until June 13, and there are some pretty fun & colourful projects linked up already! Go check out Virginia's post for more details & how to play along.
I'm hoping to get a call that my glasses are ready...waiting is driving me nuts! I have a weird prescription - long story, but I don't see out of both eyes at the same time, and the prescriptions are vastly different. The left lens is strange enough that they don't stock that type of lens locally & it has to be special-ordered. However, the optician DID straighten out my 'old' glasses for me (they were really bent crazy) so they aren't giving me a blister on my nose anymore!
xoxo,
Jessi

  1. Totally cute, totally fun, totally rainbowlicious!! I love all those stacked diecuts, too. Super fun, Jessi!

    I hear ya on the blister on nose thing. I really need to get back to my eye doctor for a fix, but it never seems to make my list. Ugh.

  2. This is one super FAB card, Jessi! I love the diecut you chose! The pop-up dimension from the smallest diecut adds pizzazz to the design! You sure have kicked this challenge up a notch! Thank you so much for playing the challenge. I hope the new glasses come to you very very soon (I know how that was since my kids jut got their new ones not that long ago. It's hard to wait)!!

  7. Awesome rainbow matting and I think a card with a middle finger raised would be the perfect complement to my lotion in the basket card! :)

    Hope the glasses come soon and I'm glad you no longer have a blister on your nose. Not a good look I imagine...
