Seems to me there should be a crafty version of the bridal rhyme
Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
(I managed 4 different spelling errors for 'something' there, btw. Personal best!!)
I'd love to punctuate this post with pictures from our trip to Pride in Halifax but the camera's still in the trunk of the car - at work with Rob - so that will have to wait! It was a complete blast, though, and we all want to go again next year!
Anyhow, quick before I have to go start the barbecue, here's my Shopping our Stash card for this week - I'd broken into the paper pad previously, but I also bought the little metal filigree doodads, and I even opened a new stamp set. I often wonder, am I the only one who covets something, waits ages to buy it, finally gets it, and then.....*crickets chirp, dust collects, I stare forlornly at said item*....
Supplies: papers from Bo Bunny; filigree charm from Bo Bunny - NEW!; sentiment from Paper Smooches; Versamark & silver EP; stamp from Karber - NEW! - from sweetie Barbles; Spiced Marmalade distress ink; standard small oval Nesties; miscellaneous gems |
This makes my inner crow very happy! |
The linky is open for another 8 hours if you're feeling crafty & up to breaking the seal on some new stuff!
xoxo,
Jessi
pretty card...love the embossed sentiment and all those fun gems...cute..
ReplyDeleteI'm still snickering over your personal best. :D
ReplyDeleteI adore all those gems. Not that I'm into bling, but I could be convinced to disappear some of my bling by doing what you've done. Into my CASE file it goes! :)
Very pretty! Doesn't that paper look better on a card than stuck in a pack? And I often have trouble using a new stamp after I get it... I just need to LOOK at it for a while. :P
ReplyDeleteFabulous work...and yes, I buy, I hoard..crickets and bullfrogs my friend...crickets and bullfrogs.
ReplyDeleteThat little charm is so sweet! Love the patterned papers, too...I haven't seen those before. And yes, I buy stuff I really love and then hoard it waiting for hell to freeze over.
ReplyDeleteIt's the bling that gets me every time! Love it Jessi!
ReplyDeleteThis is blingalicious...love the broach...I think I would hoard that for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove that yummy hibiscus paper and I'm totally with you on the new products collecting dust issue!! :)
ReplyDeletewow! Love all the sparkles on this card!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! It often takes me awhile to use a new purchase, too. Wonder why that is?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is a girls card! I love the gems!!!! Gotta have the bling!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Great colors, papers and embellies!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
Hugs, Alica ;)
