Drunken Stampers #128 - Star Wars

So it's not my week to post at Drunken Stampers, but I had a special request for a 7-year-old Star Wars fan, and Lynne's card with the countdown came out to play. How could I *not* link it up? You can too, if you're ready by Friday night!



Supplies: papers from Bo Bunny; stamps from Jane's Doodles; AC Thickers; Basic Grey number stickers; Mod Podge Dimensional Magic; Sakura Stardust pen; Corner Chomper;classic small circle Nesties


There's Dimensional Magic on the 'glass' parts of the space ship, and the flames. I scribbled Sharpies onto acetate & then used a blender pen so that I could colour the flames in lighter shades than I have. The yellow dots are also from the Thickers. 

And now I'm off to watch Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban - Connor & I are on our way through the octology (is there a word for an 8-part series? lol) these next few weeks.

    Jessi, this is PERFECT for not only a 7 year old but also a Star Wars fan!!! SO cute! Love all the bright colors too.

    Okay, this is quite awesome. :D Brilliant to use the entire countdown but with the huge birthday number. Great colouring and use of gloss, too.

    This rocks! I love the countdown and all the glitter and shine. How perfectly timed for DS! :)
    Let me know how the HP movies are. I've only seen the first one and can't decide if I want to commit to the rest...

    Jessi, this just blows me away (cough, cough, no pun intended...hee hee!) Love how you used the Dimensional Magic on the glass parts, and the use of the bitty pieces of Thickers is just brilliant!

    I'm re-reading all the HP books at the moment, I'm up to No.5 (can't remember the name as I only get to read when I go to bed tired at night lol). Then I plan on watching the 'octology' as you call it, can't wait! ps Uber fun card today!
