Fusion #7 - Mouse Party!

Here is one of those cards that didn't quite come out as planned. I began with a very clear idea to use the sketch portion of this week's Fusion challenge:

Supplies: paper strip from MME; AC Thickers (Party!); Wplus9 banner die; sentiment from Annabelle Stamps; Doodlebug twine; House Mouse sticker; PTI 'smudge' stamp; Memento Tuxedo Black ink

The banner came about because my 'plumb' is off and I stamped the sentiment crookedly on the first go. Ugh. The smudge stamp came about because I apparently had ink on my person somewhere and managed to get it on the card (AFTER adding everything but the mouse & confetti)...and then the confetti stickers had to cover up more accidental bits. Seriously, white space is hard to keep white. All in all I think my saves worked. At least I like it enough to share it & not recycle it, lol!

    C'mon, there are pets in your house that would happily take the fall for smudged ink. :P I quite like the necessary additions, so it all works for me!

    Love this card, Jessie. Glad you smudged it....looks great! I also have trouble with white and often have to add 'stuff'. Glad I'm not alone!

    Crooked sentiment cleverly covered with a banner - check. Ink on your person that transfers to the WHITE part of the card - check. Are you SUUUUURE we weren't separated at birth?

    Oh, and the whole card looks like YOU MEANT TO DO THAT, so kudos!
