I was inspired by the bright colours, and the angular layout of the tags. Check it out!
Supplies: Paper Smooches "My Peeps" set; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; We R Memory Keepers washi tape; Wonky Rectangles Nesties; Bic Markers; Mod Podge Dimensional Magic; Distress inks: shabby shutters, mustard seed, broken china, shaded lilac, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade
To make the bird appear to be flapping with excitement, I cut & coloured two extra birds. The second bird was adhered directly to the die cut, slightly askew. The third bird (lol) was adhered with foam tape & lined up with the bird stamped directly on the die cut. The eyes, beak, and feet have been glossy-fied with Dimensional Magic & a toothpick.
I also bent up the wings on each of the fussy-cut layers.
The washi background...a little time-intensive, but I love how it turned out! I crossed the purple tapes, and then added in the other colours. If anyone is interested I can mock up a photo tutorial - this time I was too busy doing it to think about how I was doing it, if that makes sense.
Here's the inspiration photo:
The SPARKS challenge is open until Sunday night - get yer rainbow on!
