Supplies: Paper Smooches hand & congrats stamps; PTI 'high five' sentiment; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Barn Door distress ink; Tattered Angels glimmer mists in Tiger Lily, Copper, Candy Apple, Yellow Daisy; Spectrum Noir markers; Sharpie
Playing around with mists is one of those things I have to get in the mood for - I tend to make a bunch of backgrounds at once, because honestly - if I try to mist in any specific way, disaster. Every time. If I go ahead & make the backgrounds, and THEN develop the idea, it's all good. Besides just 'straight misting', I've also taken the sprayer out & flicked colour onto the panel for a more splatty look (that's a technical term, by the way.)
Adding this in at Paper Smooches SPARKS for their Anything Goes challenge (really? You don't say) and also in the Colour Media challenge at Moxie Fab World.
xoxo,
Jessi
Looks great, another technique I haven't tried. I have one wobbler in my stash, but we learned how to make them for the inside of the card at my demo's.
ReplyDeletetotally FUN card..
ReplyDeleteHow fun and cute. Love the look of the glimmer mists - makes a cute background.

How fun to get a card that will wave!!
ReplyDeleteLove the splatty look! :)
Look at you, getting all glimmer misty and wobbly! LOL! Fabulous card Jessi!
ReplyDeleteWatch how you throw around that technical jargon. :D The splatter background is great -- and I agree, so much easier to get misty first and go from there. Less cardstock waste. The wobbly hand is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour opening sentance had me screeching with laughter!!!
ReplyDeleteGood job us cardmakers know what you mean*wink*
The perfect image to use... Such a cool card :0)
Thanks for joining in the challenge at PS Sparks this week :0)

So cute! I've never done a wobbler! (don't read into that! LOL) I too have to be in the mood to paint or mist and do a bunch at once for the same reason....should have remembered that with my disastrous floating ice cream cone! LOL You should post a little tutorial on wobblers --- cardmaking kind, not wine drinking kind. I don't need a tutorial for that! LOL
ReplyDeleteSO FUN!! THANKS for playing along with the paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge and I hope to see you again next week!! have a fabulous Weekend!! ;)
ReplyDeleteSplatty!!! I love it! And a great idea to make several background at once!!
