This week at Shopping our Stash we want to see your oldest ribbons or fibres put to work on a project! I used some fun fibre that I bought from ebay (seriously, $70 worth, all in 2-yard lengths...I heard about that purchase FOR YEARS) when I first really got into card making about 10 years ago. The brown fabric underneath is a $1.25 score from Frenchy's (thrift shop chain here) - it's not canvas, or linen, or burlap, but it's pretty, frays nicely, and is soft. And I have a whole bunch :)
Supplies: papers from MME; letter stickers from Basic Grey; Cuttlebug embossing folder (on the polka dot paper); eyelash fibre & fabric from stash
This was my first time using that fabric - it's pretty new - but the rest of the stash is in the elderly category. I was surprised the stickers were still sticky...I added a little glue to be sure ;) My next trick will be to try stamping on whatever that fabric is!
Come & play along with this challenge until next Monday,October 21st - hop on by & leave the rest of my teamies some love!
xoxo,
Jessi
