Supplies: stamps from Flourishes; Versamark & Dusty Concord distress ink; clear embossing powder; paper from Basic Grey; classic small oval Nesties; clear dew drops from Dollarama; glimmer mists in Cherub Pink, Blue Skies, and Lilac Chalkboard
To make it easier to paint with the glimmer mists, I embossed the heart & sentiment first, and then dabbed in the different colours of mist. I only have one colour of purple mist (the horror) and it's not very vibrant, so I added in the other two colours to give some variation.
I've had lots of card mojo the last week or so, so I have LOTS to share in the next bit - not even all purple!

Jessi
Gorgeous card Jessi, love the shimmer and sparkle on the heart & a stunning colour. Gorgeous way to use the dew drops too xx
ReplyDeleteMore purple and more prettiness! Love all the dew drops around this.

ReplyDeleteLovely card! You've inspired me to create something purple!
ReplyDeleteI have no luck finding bling of any kind at $ama... they must send it all to NS. :D The dewdrops are perfect to frame this soft purple image -- what a pretty card! (P.S. You have one more purple mist than me... must correct that oversight.)
ReplyDeleteIs that a hydrangea heart? For real? It is so pretty! I love this card!
ReplyDeleteSo sparkly and wonderful Jessi!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, you could show me purple all week, it's a fav. love what you did with those dew drops How many packages did you get? I have one of each colour and two clear just in case I run out lol.Again Fab. card with lots of shimmer.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Jessi! Love the soft purple mix in the heart and those dew drops are the perfect frame!
ReplyDeleteSo BEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteJessi, this is SO pretty! Those dew drops look amazing around the die cut, and I just love the way you colored in the image. Nice dp, too. The combination of the strip of dp behind the oval and dew drops makes it look like you've actually stamped the image on the card base and made a die cut in the strip. Very cool! Thanks so much for playing along with us in this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I am just loving all your purple creations!!! I love the clear drop thingy's!!
ReplyDeleteI've just scrolled backwards and got a chance to see all of your wonderful VD cards, Jessi! You are rocking this holiday and making the best cards!! Hugs, Darnell
