Another sketch...

...sorry! This time I've got two cards made with the current Paper Players sketch:


Supplies: button from Basic Grey; everything else from Simple Stories' diy Christmas



I made French knots on the white dotted parts of the poinsettia paper, just because I felt like it.


Supplies: papers from Carta Bella; banner die from Wplus9; stampendous sentiment; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spectrum Noir marker; 1.5" circle punch; button from stash

I'd made the snowman card first, and I wasn't completely happy with it, so I went back to my trusty Simple Stories collection.

    Oooh, two fun creations! I love the French knots on your first card, but the snowman on the second really made me smile! Love those papers! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!

    Love both cards . What a great idea adding French knots to the poinsettias they sure make them pop. Lots of texture and detail on both cards.

    The colors on the first card are really pretty but I do love the patterned papers on your second card. I'm glad you played along with this weeks sketch at The Paper Players.

    I really like the color scheme on both cards, but those tones of brown and green on the first are so pretty together! Way to keep those Christmas cards coming!

    I like them both but you are right that the poinsettia card has more pizazz. I love the look of French knots on a card. If I could do any string craft (not sure if it embroidery or crocheting or what) it would be that!
