One Last Dad card

One last Father's Day card to show you - I just love how  the watercolouring turned out and couldn't resist sharing :)


Supplies: unknown bird stamp; PTI sentiment; Palette Noir ink; Distress inks for watercolouring; Tim Holtz design ruler & embroidery supplies

At first I was unhappy with how the inks bled, but once the panel dried....love it. Some stitching on the corners for a little somethin' without too much dimension or frilliness, and tada!  Popping in over at little red wagon for the stitching challenge.

    Isn't it funny how it looks so different dry, I've had the same thing happen to me, thought it was ruined and it turned out fab... go figure. ps LOVE your card BTW!

    Oh, Jessi... this is so lovely! My dad adores birds and this would have been perfect for him! Love the off-kilter center panel and the gorgeous, gorgeous watercoloring. heart!

    This is gorgeous love the image and you have colored the bird perfectly . Would love to know who makes this stamp . The stitching gives it that little extra .

    Oh wow!! I LOVE the watercoloring!! I have a hard time letting stuff bleed!! The bird is gorgeous!!
