As the title suggests, at Shopping our Stash this week we want to see trees! Conveniently I'm currently addicted to them, so this was super easy for me.
Supplies: stamps from PTI; papers from Studio Calico; classic small oval Nesties; Distress inks in Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain
This is one of the few multi-step stamping sets I've been able to use successfully - even clear sets generally confound my ability to line things up just so, and I knowwww there's products to help with that but no, I wanna spend my money on fun stuff :) lol
You gotta see all the lovely trees! Check out the SOS crew:
So you're not getting a MISTI any time soon, huh? Great tree and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job of lining that up, I have one or two of those things you line sets up with and they never work for me. The Fiskers stamp press is great for cling and clear sets. I love your sketch too.
ReplyDeletethis is so awesome! & your stamping always looks PERFECT to me, missus!!! (witness the WHITE that is entirely smudge-free!!! inconceivable!!!) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteLook at you, lining up multi step stamps all perfectly by hand shit! This card is gorgeous! Love that tree stamp, and the sentiment is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJessi, this is wonderful! I love the papers used here. The combination is unexpected and adds interest to the design! You focal is perfect. I thought it was all one stamp! Very nicely crafted!
ReplyDeleteHaha - lining things up is not my forte either. Why do you think I do distressed cards? Because things are meant to be wonky then! :D I love the way you've got the tree going slightly off the edge - it's adds a great design element
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this card! Your paper choices are fantastic and I really like the green and brown together.
ReplyDeleteI can't line up multi-step stamps either... I call it artistic. :D Another classy and CAS dad's day card!
ReplyDeleteOh i like the tree!! the color scheme and layout is perfect!! I think it adds character if things not line up exactly!!!!! But that's just my opinion, ha! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat combining your stamps. Very effective work. Tree's Huh? Hmmm
ReplyDeletelove trees, dream big dreams about doing a canvas with trees as the focal point. Hmm me thinks you have given me a jumping in or off point. Keep smiling and creating.
Your positioning of the stamps are to perfection,Jessi! Who needs Misti?
