Please don't hold the intervention yet - I'm still enjoying watercolouring too much! I've been playing around with making the large 'splotches' and although I still need practice with how much water's needed I am pretty happy with this one:
Supplies: Flourishes daisies; sentiment from PTI; Palette Noir ink; MME enamel dots; distress inks for watercolouring
Enamel dots just seem like the perfect embellishment for watercoloured images. Since this is a birthday card I'm popping in at little red wagon; and I was also inspired by the painted wall photograph at Open-Minded Crafting Fun:
