Good morning! This week's
Shopping our Stash challenge is right up my alley - stitching! Woot! I went with my recent obsession with random cross-stitching:
Supplies: From the Heart image & sentiment; Bo Bunny paper; Spectrum Noir markers; classic small oval Nesties; googly eyes; buttons from stash; Tim Holtz design ruler & embroidery supplies
Now usually I wouldn't put googly eyes on this birdie - his expression is just too perfect to cover up. However, I coloured his eyelids orange...and boo-booed onto his eyeball. At the end of colouring. Googly eyes to the rescue :)
Don't forget to check out what my talented team mates have created:
xoxo,
Jessi
Remember the old saying ~~ there are no boo-boos just an opportunity to embellish. Super cute birdy and card. awesome sewing.
ReplyDeleteYay for googly eyes! They can fix anything! LOL! There is some serious cuteness going on on this adorable card! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHa!!! been there, done that!! googly eyes are a perfect way to cover some unwanted boo boos and always, always result in something awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove this sweet birthday chickie, those hats are a hoot, your cross stitch looks fabulous and the crisscross sewn buttons just completes this fun card.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Hahaha, loving those googly eyes Jessi!
ReplyDeletegoogly eyes are SO AWESOME in so many ways, especially when they SAVE THE DAY! ps: i loooooooooooove this sentiment, one of my faves, i may need to OWN that actually... ;)
