St. Patrick's Day!

Supplies: sun & rain stamp from Market Street Stamps;
cloud stamp from The Greeting Farm;
Palette Noir and Versamark inks;
rainbow/pot of gold from Jolee's;
Martha Stewart fringing scissors; corner rounder
Nearly forgot to post this! Luckily Lisa's post at dahlhouse designs reminded me :) I knew I had one more St. Pat's card in me for the CREATE challenge!

Yesterday was my class at the Joggins Fossil Centre - we had 10 kids participate, and it was a lot of fun! Luckily I had help - one of Riley's classmates came along, my mother-in-law, and a friend brought her daughter. It made it a lot easier to have more hands on deck, since there were some younger kids who needed more help than I'd thought. Next year (since I was asked to come back - yay!) I may do two classes so that the older kids can do more advanced things. I've taken pictures of the cards we set out to make, but haven't uploaded them yet...because while preparing for the class, my husband replaced part of the bathroom ceiling...and rather more than intended, because while removing the intended part, another piece as large came down too. This old house is held together with spit, I think.

xoxo,
Jessi

  2. First, I apologize for missing so many of your recent posts! Life has been crazy here and my time on the ol' computer had to be the first thing to go :(. Second, I LOVE this St. Pat's card!! That sparkly rainbow is adorable! And how cheery is that sun? Oh, and that fringe-y grass is perfect, too. :)

    Your class sounds like so much fun! I'm glad you were asked back to teach again. I'll bet you are an amazing teacher :D.

    I hear ya on your old house being held together with spit lol. I grew up in one of those!

    And last, I scrolled through your recent creations and enjoyed seeing all of them! I'm sorry there's no time to leave comments on all of them, but I wanted you to know that I took a peek. Your weaving was stunning, and I love how your gemstone strips look on that colorful thanks card!

    Good luck with the rest of your March Break week--I hope you were able to sneak off to the washroom at the appropriate times!!!
