Maggie and the Good Stuff!

So, here's Maggie. The cat who USED to think she was a dog, including playing fetch & loving belly rubs....up until we got a dog. She still does those things, but she isn't friendly with the dog. She tends to sleep (snore) under my desk where she can't be reached, but a few weeks ago she came to visit.
WATCHA DOIN'?

Hey, 'sup? Your card is missing something....

Supplies: K&Co label & rose stickers;
Kaisercraft alpha stickers;
Basic Grey paper
So what's the good stuff? Besides one of my pretty cats, that is...blog candy :) There's a bunch. Three pictures' worth. Open to anyone worldwide. What do you have to do?

Leave me a comment on this post, and tell me your favourite song right now. Not your favourite song ever, but the one that comes on the radio these days that makes you sing along. Right now, for me? David Guetta, Titanium.

You can include the link to the video if you want, too :) And it doesn't have to be a 'new' song, just one that's doing it for you today.

Here's the blog candy:
40 sheets of Christmas themed paper - Memory Box, Cosmo Cricket,
Echo Park, Best Creations;
Inkadinkado Christmas stamps - pine boughs & stocking puppy;
crocheted mats - oval & circle

pad of Graphic 45 'Curtain Call;' Studio Calico journal kit & two sticker sheets;
crocheted mats

3 packages of 1" wide crepe paper;
Cuttlebug Fleur-de-Lis embossing folder;
Fancy Pants bird stamp; crocheted mats
You may notice the same crocheted mats are in each photo - I'll include 3 ovals & 3 circles, one each of black, white, and cream.

Now then, sing away! I'll draw for a winner from the qualifying comments by Wednesday November 14!
xoxo,
Jessi

  1. Oh my goodness, that Demi Lovato Give Your Heart a Break song gets me EVERY time! I've tried resisting it but it's much easier to just belt it out.

  2. Hello, Maggie! She's a cutie! I'm guessing your card was missing some cat hair... ;) I like it just the way it is.
    Very generous blog candy! It makes me sad, but I'm really liking Martha Wainwright's song Prosperpina right now. Not exactly a sing-along, though...

  7. Good heavens, I'm TERRIBLE at picking just one of anything!! A song, a song. In which direction shall I go? Huh. Well, the one that just popped into my head now is Rush, Seven Cities of Gold. So I guess that's what's doin' it for me today. Tomorrow will be something completely different!!

    Your blog candy looks completely luscious, by the way. What a great, fun way to celebrate your Moxie Fabber of the Week status. Another huge congrats, my friend!

  8. Maggie is a cutie patootie! Makes me want a cat again myself, but Jack Russels like my Cricket don't get along with cats.

    Did someone say blog candy? :D OOoooo!

    My fave song right now is "Some Nights" by Fun. I love the beat, so catchy and peppy you can't help but dance when you hear it. I play the whole FUN album on Spotify late at night while I craft when Dave is at work. I may be 50 now, but I still crank the tunes get a groove on! LOL

    I saw them on SNL last week and the main singer would make a good spokesman for energy drinks --- very hyper!

  9. Maggie is a cutie patootie! Wish I still had a cat.

    And, did someone say blog candy? Loooove blog candy and getting crafty things in the mail! :D

    My fave song these days is "Some Nights" from Fun. It's got a great peppy beat and you can't help but dance to it!

    I may be 50 now, but I still crank up the volume and get my groove going, especially late at night when Dave is at work!

  12. Oooh, beautiful cat - but I can see she looks a little cranky. My cat had the same look on her face when my son showed up for the first time and it has been there ever since.

    Songs - I'm not much of a radio gal, but yesterday I kept singing 'Let it Snow' (not that I was wishing for it, it was just stuck on replay) and today Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head - not sure why.

    Thanks for the chance to win your awesome candy!!! LOOOOOOOVE your crocheted doilies!

    Hugs, Dawn

  13. Did someone say blog candy? Yum! Yum! And, how precious is Maggie? Such a cutie! I miss having a cat myself.

    Tough to choose just 1 song, but think it has to be Some Nights by Fun. Here is a video:

    Kind of a strong video, but I love the beat and music of this song. Can't help but crank up the volume and get a groove going with it! One song I listen to ALOT while crafting.

    Thanks for offering such great blog candy! Have a super weekend!

  17. your cat may think it is a dog, and my dog thinks it is a cat??? why are our canadian pets so confused? can't even make a comment on the computer anymore because the dog attacks the moving cursor on my screen! our animals need to have a freak friday and switch personalities!

  19. hello, maggie! & hello, minion! (b/c DOGS have owners & cats have STAFF: even cats who think they are dogs don't make a mistake on that point, lol!) what lovely blog candy you have here! need someone to help you out with that at all, lol???!??!?!?!

    for once my favorite new song really IS new-(ISH), tho it has a totally retro sound, i am really loving cee-lo green's song "forget you" and find that it's impossible not to sing along. probably to the dismay of music lovers, generally. sorry, guys, i'm a sucker for a catchy chorus! :)

  20. I hate to answer this question. My friends tell me I live in a cave, and it must be true as I've never heard of most of the songs listed in the comments above! A friend recently gave me a couple of CD mixes she made because my kids only knew John Denver and Simon and Garfunkel! :) There are a couple of Jason Mraz songs on the CDs that I love to sing along to. Can't think what they're called, though. I'm hopeless! ann
