An incredibly literal take on the current sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch (#12 - open until noon on Tuesday):
and with the paper-pieced flamingo (including those feet, one of which I dropped on the floor after cutting out...and miraculously found again!), for the paper-piecing challenge at Simon Says Stamp which is open until Wednesday morning.

Luis would happily give this to me as he likes to remind me all the time of how much older than him I am!! (A mere year and a half but it seems to be enough for him to torment me...) Love the embossing over the paper and I can't believe you found those feet!

Hilarious! I like the embossing on the patterned paper, too. And I always misplace that one tiny bit when I'm paper-piecing, never fails!
