Shopping our Stash #93 - Sassy, Snarky, and LOL!


This week's AWESOME challenge at Shopping our Stash is to get out those sassy and snarky sentiments you save for those special occasions when being nice just isn't called for. Or, as it happens to be for me, uh, every day. Wait until you see the fun stuff the DT has for you!

Supplies: papers from Memory Box; clip art from Crafty Secrets

Took me forever to settle on a layout! The grey pieces are actually two little strips. The pink banner was only attached at the top, so that I could lift the 'tails' up for some extra dimension, and the image was layered on with foam tape. I so love these Anne Taintor-y images :) 

So, come on, make us giggle (and snort) and maybe even pee justalittle with your funny stuff!  This Shopping our Stash challenge is open until Monday March 18th.  
It may only be 8 AM, but I think I'm going to crawl back into bed. My kingdom for lungs that don't crackle when I breathe, lol!

    this is TOOOO FUNNY! i love those anne taintory images, too, and the sentiment is PRICELESS!!! brilliant use of smaller scraps, too, i am always proud when i "remember" that the pieces BEHIND focal pt don't necessarily HAVE TO BE full-sized, which is... ummmmmmmmmm... well, just NOT all the time, hence the proudness every once in a while! :)

    do hope you're feeling MUCH BETTER very verrrrrrrrrrrrry soon! every time i have a respiritory bug i think how lucky i am to take my pain-free breathing for granted! b/c the alternative is soooooo unsettling!!! (admittedly, i only think this for about the first 1/2 day; then i think, "gimme antibiotics!!!" for another 1/2 day; then i think, "just make this GET BETTER right now!!!" for the last 2-3 weeks, b/c those things ALWAYS seem to take 2-3 weeks, don't they?) FEEL BETTER, my friend!!! ♥♥♥♥♥

    Fun, fun, fun! Love the snarky challenge, not sure I have anything in my STASH that will work ;-( after all that is the object of this shopping our stash challenge. The real challenge will be to find something that fits the genre.

    I totally snorted at this one! :D Brilliant sentiment and perfect layout.

    Crackly lungs? Very not cool. :( Hang in there, Jessi! Big hugs for you! And Atti sends some sloppy kisses. He assures me they'll cure anything... :)
