Wanna Sketch? I do I do!

So my bloggy pal Lisa is hosting a sketch challenge for fun - and it's a super fun sketch. I actually made this card last week, and then forgot to post it! And Barb saved my bacon with a very timely loan of stamp sets for Mother's Day - you'd think after umpteen years I'd have a decent collection of Mother's Day sentiments, but no. I wait too long every year, and then once it's past...out of sight out of mind, apparently.

Supplies: Stamps from PTI (thank you, Barb!!!); Gray Flannel Memento ink; papers from MME "In Bloom;" yellow lace from Webster's Pages; pink velvet ribbon from stash

Barb also enabled me on buying what is indeed the prettiest paper pad :) I can't picture skipping a single sheet. I also picture buying another pad of it...
Lisa's sketch challenge is pressure-free - a month to link up, no pressure, no rules. Well, pretty sure you have to use the sketch. I suppose THAT'S a rule :P
Off to spend some time in the yard with the dog - temps have been in the teens all week, and predicted to hit 19C on Sunday. Spring took its sweet-ass time but I think it's here!
xoxo,
Jessi

  7. This is so pretty, how nice to have a Grandma to give one too. Your color pallet is interesting to me. When I look at my stash, the colors that are not seasonal, that I just don't buy are oranges and pinks....Hmmm Thanks for the inspiration to get out of my box. Keep smiling and creating
