Shopping our Stash #123 - Oldest Ribbon/Fibres

This week at Shopping our Stash we want to see your oldest ribbons or fibres put to work on a project! I used some fun fibre that I bought from ebay (seriously, $70 worth, all in 2-yard lengths...I heard about that purchase FOR YEARS) when I first really got into card making about 10 years ago. The brown fabric underneath is a $1.25 score from Frenchy's (thrift shop chain here) - it's not canvas, or linen, or burlap, but it's pretty, frays nicely, and is soft. And I have a whole bunch :)

Supplies: papers from MME; letter stickers from Basic Grey; Cuttlebug embossing folder (on the polka dot paper); eyelash fibre & fabric from stash

This was my first time using that fabric - it's pretty new - but the rest of the stash is in the elderly category. I was surprised the stickers were still sticky...I added a little glue to be sure ;) My next trick will be to try stamping on whatever that fabric is!

Come & play along with this challenge until next Monday,October 21st hop on by & leave the rest of my teamies some love!

xoxo,
Jessi

  14. Great use of the fun fibre, Jessi!

Say, if you should need anymore fun fibre, be sure to let me know...my friend and I went on quite a kick a few years back. Between the 2 of us, we have quite the "collection". If only it were worth something! LOL
