Eat, Drink, and Be Merry!

I pointed out the Quirky Crafts challenge to my Snarky Sisters when it went live - wine? Sounds like our kind of challenge! I thought about it for a while, but didn't come up with an idea I liked until I saw the sketch this morning at Jingle Belles - designed by  the fab Amy Tsuruta - and BOOM I had my plan!

I won this FUN stamp set and gold ink from my sistah Lindsey a few weeks ago - I believe the stamps are from Simon Says?  Perfect for this:

Supplies: Stamps & ink from Lindsey! (gold Brilliance pigment ink); Versamark; Festive Berries & Mowed Lawn distress inks; clear EP; Memento Tuxedo Black ink

To make sure I didn't end up smearing the gold ink, I embossed it with clear EP - I inked the sentiment stamp with Versamark first, and then the Distress inks, to get a clearer impression.

Here's the Jingle Belles sketch:

And the Quirky Crafts challenge!

Jessi

  10. Love the embossing, especially the bubbles. I'm all for those first two--eat and drink are right up my alley. Be merry sounds suspiciously perky to me though!
