Shopping our Stash #191 - Not So Heavy Metal

Now here's a fun dig-through-your-stash challenge from us at Shopping Our Stash this week - use your oldest metal embellishments! For me that would definitely be eyelets - the last time I purchased any was at least 5-6 years ago, and I still have enough to last me until the apocalypse. Maybe not in every colour but just about! It's been so long since I used them that I had to dig through my drawer to find my eyelet setter (one of the cats has claimed that drawer as her resting spot while I craft...and usually before resting she has a paw through to see if there's anything she can pick up & drop on the floor).

Supplies: Cars & sentiment from Unity; burlap stamp from Market Street Stamps; Brushed Corduroy distress ink; papers from MME; eyelets

Super simple! The most time-consuming part of the card was finding the eyelet setter.

So what metal pieces do you have lingering in your stash?   join in with the SOS crew:

And you have until Monday,March 9th to join in!
xoxo,
Jessi

  1. Eyelet setter, as in hammer and setter? If so, I'm impressed! I used a Crop-A-Dile.

  2. I'm glad that I never started hoarding eyelets, because, like brads, they would rarely get used. But I really like the placement of these on your fabulous card! Nice touch.... And I'm glad the cat allowed you to use your eyelet setter.

  8. Eyelets. Yep, have a few. Although brads may have come first. They add a perfect touch to this masculine card!
