Trees at Merry Monday

What's more iconic for Christmas than the Christmas tree? Spoiled for choice this week at Merry Monday!  I used just patterned papers for my card.

Supplies: papers from Simple Stories; buttons from Dress it Up; Tim Holtz design ruler & embroidery supplies

I sewed the tiny buttons on over top of the buttons printed on the tree, and then added some more stitching for texture.

xoxo,
Jessi

  7. Sure, it was a just patterned paper card till you went the labour-intensive route of sewing all those little buttons on! :P Oh, and the cross-stitching, too. I love the scrappy look of this card, it's beautiful!

  11. Oooh! I really like this, such a happy vintage look with fabby vintage papers. Can I say 'fabby' even though I'm 'Murican? I think it is a fabby word.
