Now here's a challenge for you! What's the oldest designer paper that you have in your stash? You know, don't you? It's the one that you see nearly every time you look for 'just the right paper' and think "why did I buy that?" OR "Man, I could never use it. It's too pretty!" Well, this week at Shopping our Stash we want you to....
Use it.
Ta-da!
I've set myself a personal challenge to clear out papers if I'm not using them - especially the 12x12 papers that I can't resist but rarely use. This paper is still about 1.5 years old, but this finished it off, and made a perfect guy valentine:
Supplies: papers and chipboard from Best Creations; rub-on sentiment from EAD Designs
The white piece of chipboard is printed on the other side, but it really didn't work for me. At all. So I flipped it :) I love the detail on the instrument paper!
This Shopping our Stash challenge is open until Monday February 25th. Don't forget to check out what everyone else has been up to!
xoxo,
Jessi
Okay, I think I'm gonna have to enter this one. I have paper that's going on 6 years old. I think it's time to love it or leave it!
ReplyDeleteThose glittery guitars are pretty awesome and good idea with the journaling card!
I can't bear to use my papers too - just too nice??!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great masculine card and love the all guitars on the bg!
Old paper is always there, isn't it? Your card turned out very well, even with old paper.
ReplyDeletei looooooooooove that paper with the sparkly guitars! but maybe you SHOULD have saved it a little longer... keith richards' 100 birthday is not VERY long away, afterall!!! :) :) :)

Eek Love this paper! So fun and totally awesome for a DMC!
ReplyDeleteI just edited my post today because the paper I used on today's post is so old I don't remember where or when I got it. I think it's some of the first PP I acquired.
Very clever--love what you did! My oldest printed paper is over 15 yrs old--eeek! Think I need to find a kid to give it to--LOL!
ReplyDeleteFun mix of patterns!:)
ReplyDeleteThe oldest paper you have is 1.5 years old? That's actually quite good...lol
Awww...that is such a sweet card, Jessi. It's perfect for any guy--valentine or even birthday. I think I need to enter this challenge (I think I have paper getting close to collecting social security). ;)
ReplyDeleteI tend not to buy 12 X 12 anymore, the paper pads are heaps more user friendly, but I hear what your saying. Fun design and great sentiment too.
ReplyDeleteFantastic masculine valentine! Those papers are awesome. I'm impressed that your oldest paper is only 1.5 years old :) I think mine is about 8.... I really need to clean out my stash lol
