Supplies: Sweet Pea digi stamp "Iris Dreams;" Spectrum Noir and Bic markers; Martha Stewart crystal glitter; Cuttlebug tag die; Annabelle Stamps sentiment; May Arts ribbon; Distress inks in Seedless Preserves, Broken China, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass; Tattered Angels glimmer mists in Chalkboard Lilac & Blue Skies; Versamark; Sapphire EP; Sakura Stardust clear glitter pen; Sharpie white paint pen
I printed out two copies of the image so that I could pop up the flowers (and one arm). Once I'd coloured everything but her hair I asked Connor what colour her hair should be, and he chose blue. After colouring I added glitter to the flower centres & her hair. A smidge of glitter pen on her eyes, and ta-da! The background was made with the faux-faux patina technique. The ribbon was heated with my heat gun to melt & warp it a little, which also stiffens it & helps it hold its shape. (As a side note, isn't it funny how we tend to use the same techniques over & over in little bursts? I think 90% of my ribbon has been melted lately!)
