Supplies: The kitchen sink, I'm pretty sure ;) ; cat stamp from Inkadinkado; sentiment from Unity; Bic Markers; Turqoise Blue glimmer mist; Purple Twilight Adirondack ink; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; chipboard (woodgrain) from Simple Stories; embossing folder (unknown)
Barb, this is the same background you asked about the other day (with a slight difference) - I soaked the paper with Glimmer Mist until it was puddling, and then let it dry before dry embossing it. The other background was swiped with Versamark & heat embossed - this time I just used dye ink to make the flowers pop. The purple & silver circle here was left over from a piece of 'faux faux patina' paper I made ages ago.

Jessi
thanks for the info about the backgrounds. Super cute image and card. Great use of the sketch!!
ReplyDeleteSuper card, really made me smile as I had a cat who always liked to help me wrap presents! Jo x

ReplyDeleteVery cute kitty!! Thanks for playing along with Naughty or Nice Challenges!
ReplyDeleteThis kitty is such a cutie! Perfectly coloured, of course. Great background panel, too!
ReplyDeleteCute card! I liked that you soaked the paper until it was pudding but didn't destroy it in any fashion. As you can guess I could never get that lucky. I thought your larger circle was a button too. It looks so dimensional!
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! Amazing card!! I LOVE the background!! The colors are lovely and the image --> adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is stinkin' cute, Jessi! Thanks for joining me at The Challenge.
