Tuesday Morning Sketches #262 - Craft Classes Online!

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are sponsored by Craft Classes Online (formerly known as My Creative Classroom). You could win a seat in a workshop class by playing along with us this week!

It's also TWIST WEEK - you don't need to use the twist to play along, but you do need to use it in order to win :) This time around the twist is WATERCOLOUR. I've created a watercolour background for my card:

Supplies: Sentiment from Paper Smooches; Peeled Paint distress ink; Tiger Lily, Yellow Daisy, & Olive glimmer mists from Tattered Angels; trim from Webster's pages; buttons, leaf, & flowers from stash

The green background was created by smushing the Peeled Paint ink pad on an acrylic block and then spritzing with the yellow & green mists. The orange background was created by painting the mist directly onto the paper. I used my Tim Holtz ruler to pierce along the top of the orange piece to stitch it into place.

Here's the sketch:

This sketch is open until next Sunday, August 17th  hop on over & see what the design team has created for you!

  9. Love your smushing technique! The colors remind me of Fall. Something we don't have here in Florida.
