Let's Celebrate!

Prepare for the barrage of posts! It was a productive week again so I have lots to share, and I'm going to break up the posts for the different challenge linkies. First up, a card for The Challenge sketch & the Naughty or Nice furry friends challenge:

Supplies: The kitchen sink, I'm pretty sure ;) ; cat stamp from Inkadinkado; sentiment from Unity; Bic Markers; Turqoise Blue glimmer mist; Purple Twilight Adirondack ink; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; chipboard (woodgrain) from Simple Stories; embossing folder (unknown)

Barb, this is the same background you asked about the other day (with a slight difference) - I soaked the paper with Glimmer Mist until it was puddling, and then let it dry before dry embossing it. The other background was swiped with Versamark & heat embossed - this time I just used dye ink to make the flowers pop. The purple & silver circle here was left over from a piece of 'faux faux patina' paper I made ages ago.

xoxo,
Jessi

This kitty is such a cutie! Perfectly coloured, of course. Great background panel, too!

Cute card! I liked that you soaked the paper until it was pudding but didn't destroy it in any fashion. As you can guess I could never get that lucky. I thought your larger circle was a button too. It looks so dimensional!
