It wasn't until reading this challenge that I realized I don't tend to use a lot of blue in cards - I find blues very hard to match. There's lots of blue paper in my stash, though, so off I went to give it a whirl, and I came up with two cards - one blue in colour only, and one a little blue in colour & theme.
Supplies: papers from Basic Grey "Marjolaine;" flower stamp from Hero Arts; sentiment from MFT; Versamark & Pirate Gold EP; labels 4 Nesties |
Supplies: papers from Basic Grey "Wander;" dog stamp from TAC; sentiment from Michaels; Palette Noir ink; standard oval & Labels 4 Nesties |

These are terrific cards!
That gold embossing powder rocks and I love how you enlarged the panel - never would have guessed!
The second card is too adorable - I just want to cuddle that little guy!
Love the gold embossing and the beautiful blue flowers, great trick with the seam!
Jessi, your gold embossing looks fantastic!! I think you did a super job finding some blue--these look so pretty. Hey, just realized that *I* have that TAC dog stamp, too!! Always loved it :). He looks so cute with those Wander papers!
Wonderful cards, love all the blue & the embossed flowers look fabulous! Thanks for joining us over at SOS this week :)
Can you believe I don't have Marjolaine? (Shh...you'll ruin my reputation!) Love this esp. since I just bought an agapanthus stamp from the LSS. Love the puppy one mixed with Wander too!
I'm totally loving your stamping in the first card--wow!!! So stunning! The dog in the second card is absolutely adorable. I love that pp. I know what you mean about the blue...so many blues have a faded look and while I love navy, they are impossible to match!
the embossing and coloring is just super. and i adore the sweet puppy.
I'm with the masses, I love the embossing and colouring, what a rich effect! Fab images too!
that embossed card is really cool looking...and I love the dog image in the second card...thanks for joining us at shopping our stash this week!
