Sounds more mysterious this way! This week at
Shopping our Stash we'd like to see you use up one of those Unfinished Objects (UFOs) we all have on our desks (or in a drawer, or basket, etc). You know, the piece you coloured but then it didn't work? The embellishments you painstakingly die cut and then thought nahhhh.
In my case, I watercoloured this poinsettia and then set it aside....and then found it in a drawer when I was looking for something else.
Supplies: stamps from PTI; Palette Noir ink; Versamark clear & champagne inks; clear and Pirate Gold EP; distress inks for watercolouring; Lil Inkers stitched rectangle die; brushed gold paper from stash
I used a glue pen to add dots to the poinsettia to allow me to emboss the flower centre. I love that there's tons of detail on this card - and yet it's still completely flat so cheap to mail. Score!
So what random finds did the crew come up with? Go see!

Isn't it fun that so many of our projects are based on things we find while looking for something else? :D
Love the gold and YAY for using that poinsettia!
ok, this is GLORIOUS by any conceivable standard!!! ♥
ps: the 2nd volume of my memoirs is going to be called, "what i found while i was looking for something else". (b/c ya NEVER find the thing you're looking for while you're actually looking for IT... it's very zen...) fyi volume 1 of my memoirs will obviously be called, "what i did when i was supposed to be doing something else" which pretty much sums up my entire life, lol :) :) :)
Don't you just love it when you find "lost" gems like this? Your poinsettia is fabulous and adding the stamens in the center was a great call. Nice Save!

Your poinsettia is stunningly gorgeous, love the gold detail in the centre, just awesome!!
What a great way for this lost poinsettia to end up on such a pretty card! I love the embossed center and the gold accents! Very pretty!
Beautiful poinsettia!! I love the gold embossing!
I have a bazillion UFO's so I'll have to go looking and play along this week.
How could you have put this poinsettia away when it's so gorgeous! But you've at least used it now on this elegant card.
Gorgeous poinsettia card, and it's flat for mailing, high five. Great job on your UFO.
