Crawling out from under my rock...

...to say hi.
Mater teeth suckers. Makes me miss Ring Pops.
(This is from the circus last month - Riley's on the left, Connor on the right.)

Supplies: Papers from Basic Grey "Nook & Pantry;"
Wilton doily; Dress it Up! phone button;
velvet flowers & pearl brad from K&Co;
Phoning lady clip from Crafty Secrets;
'hello' stamp from Inkadinkado; Memento Tuxedo Black ink
And that's about it. Long, challenging, emotional week. Didn't even get many things made, because I had a special order that was extremely difficult & nearly made me decide to quit making cards all together. Serious drama-queen moment, but still. Did more house-cleaning because that empties my brain more effectively than creating, and watched the entire first season of Castle, and read a whole stack of James Patterson.

I think I've nearly caught up on commenting - besides what's above I've been doing pretty well on my attempt to read the entire of the Internets. And my bubble-shooter score on FB is going up too.

Man, I hope this week is better!
xoxo,
Jessi

Glad to see you come out of that week into this one! Your card is beautiful, love the image on top of the doily!
I can't leave without mentioning the 'teeth', they are hilarious! Your boys look like they are having a fab time!

Hi Jessi -

You are so sweet. Thanks for the fabulous comments. Your sons are darling. I know my students take those funky teeth out of the prize box first. Kids just love 'em!!

Your card is lovely. I love the lady - what a great pic. The papers are just fabulous. Fabulous job.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Hee hee (over the teeth). Your boys are too cute.

Pretty pretty (over the card). Love the BG papers and the Crafty Secrets clip is hilarious. I love her!

Boo hoo (over the bad week). Were you having the drama queen moment or your client? Don't quit making cards! I hope your week is better and you get more crafty time. *hugs*

Sorry you had a bad week! Don't let the drama queens win, lol! (I'm guessing it was a client) Your card is great BTW! I love the vintage look!

And RE: that pic of your boys, too funny!!! My boys are around the same age and they're always being goofy too:)

Aw, like Mr Corgi says, a hobby is supposed to be fun! I hope your house cleaning cleared your mind and you're ready to go back to creating soon. Especially if you're going to be making vintage fabulousness like this card with that (get-out!) telephone button.

I'm not sure I could have handled an entire circus of children with Mater teeth, but I'm glad y'all enjoyed yourselves! :)

I reached the end of the Interwebs last week, turned out it was a topless kitten playing WOW while saying something snarky in a cool font, which was then pinned to pinterest and someone remade it using only stuff she found at the thrift store and white spray paint. Hope I didn't ruin it for you.

Hi, Jessi! So sorry to hear that your week was so stressful. Glad you could find some things to empty your mind for a while! Fun photos of the boys at the circus. Looks like they were having fun. And your fun vintage card is sweet!! I hope things start looking up for you soon--you deserve a break today!! (but not at McDonald's!! Are you old enough to remember that one??) Hang in there, my friend!!!

LOL, I'm glad Damian hasn't seen those Mater teeth 'cause he'd want one and then another and another. I hope that cheered you up!

Sorry to hear about the difficult order. Wait 'til you hear about Lindsey's order of 24 cards all.the.same. Yikes! I love your shabby chic style card, a style I 'may' have pulled off once. Just maybe. ;)
