I was still catching up with Sookie Stackhouse for much of December, but there were a few other books that crept in:
Micro by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston Once you get past the eerie "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" aspect, it actually becomes a fun read. IF you can get past that.
Angelina's Bachelors by Brian O'Reilly This definitely made me hungry while reading it, but it's a quick and light read that I picked up & finished on Boxing Day.
(In case you're interested, the total number of books that I read in 2011 was 211.)
Thanks for checking out my favourites :)
xoxo,
Jessi

That paper weaving is fantastic, Jessi. I've put away my Christmas crafting things (reluctantly) but am having fun with hearts and Valentines, so I guess it's not so bad!
What a great use of this stamp (since I have it in my collection!). Love the paper weaving...I have to try that! Have a good one!
I love how you weaved those strips of paper, Jessi! Happy New Year to you!
So COOL and BEAUTIFUL! Wonderful card!
Have a great day, hugs, Karin
This was one of my faves too! :) It was a fabulous year Jessi and I'm so glad I got to be apart of it. I can't wait to see what 2012 holds for you. Hugs.
Such a pretty card, love the woven pattern of papers and the tree is gorgeous!! So, yep, good pick!
Hugs, Wendy
Mmmm yes this was definitely one of my faves too!
Loved looking through all your favourites but I have to ask - how on earth did you manage to read 211 books along with your prolific card making?? Plus all your craft events and, of course, being a busy mom! Do you ever sleep?? LOL! I seem to average between 25 and 30 books a year which I thought was good until I looked at how many books I've hoarded and worked out that at that rate it would take me 25 years to read them all. Luis has challenged me not to buy a single book this year. Not sure if I can meet that challenge but we'll see how long I last...
