Paper Players Sketch

I can't remember if I mentioned it here on the ol' blog, but next week I'm off for a trip home to Vancouver for three weeks. Definitely beginning to enter panic mode with creating (much more fun than panic mode with packing/laundry!) and blogging - I know I'm not going to be catching up on comments, and that drives me batty. I hate not getting around, even when it's for a good reason.

I played with the sketch from The Paper Players for one of the many birthday cards I'm getting ready to bring with me:

Supplies: papers from Simple Stories; kitty chipboard from October Afternoon; Paper Smooches sentiment; Gray Flannel Memento ink; classic small circle Nesties; Corner Chomper; green rhinestones from Dollarama; Sakura Stardust glitter pen (on sentiment & around white circle)

Puppy update: Last night was a lot smoother, as we got Mimi her own crate (she's already crate-trained for sleeping) and now she's got a safe place to go when she wants to. We took her for her first 'sidewalk walk' yesterday, and considering she'd only ever been on the previous owner's property (a farm) she did really well with traffic & staying on leash without yanking. Going where she wants to will be an issue for a bit probably ;)

All right, back to panicking!
xoxo,
Jessi

So cute, Jessi! Are you just taking birthday cards for everyone, regardless of when their birthdays are? :D Very envious of your west coast extended vacation.

Packing? Just take a weeks worth of clothes and do laundry there, but bring an extra suitcase packed with craft supplies and liquor! LOL! Jessi, this card is super CAS and super cute! Love it!

Adorable card, Jessi! I know what you mean about not getting around. I've been out of it for only a week and feel like I'm hopelessly behind. It feels different, though, when you are gone away from home, like not so guilt-inducing.

So by now I'm thinking you are away. If you should see this, just back away from thinking about everyone else and enjoy your family!! They're the REAL ones, remember, lolololol!! Hugs, Darnell

LOVE this one!! Sooo very cute! It´s like a vintage card from the 1950´s , but with a modern twist - great!
Have a lovely Monday! Ulina
