Up at 2 to start the day today...and she won't go back to bed, but insisted on being all up in my grille while I tried to at least be productive with my early start to the day. Poor sleepy us ;)
I did manage to get an idea for the MUSE challenge, while digging around looking for something else. Don't you love how that works? I pulled out this purple circle & green scalloped piece, and *ding!* it came to me:
Supplies: random purple & green stuff, lol; Palette Noir & Spun Sugar inks; We R Memory Keepers yellow washi; CTMH stripy stamp; CC Designs sentiment; pink 'happy birthday' sticker from Doodlebug
I was inspired by the green & purple colour scheme of Therese's card, the bright funky feel, and the positive sentiment...and the stripy straw! I love how it stamped in a rough way - it was the last touch I added & I love how it looks. Sorry for the dark picture - any brighter with the editing & you couldn't see the pink stripes.
And now to link up with a whole 6 hours to go! Woot! Lots of time to play along :)
xoxo,
Jessi

Such a fun take on the challenge....get some rest:)
Jessi, this is precious! Love the way you did the strips at an angle on here. Great colors too.
Cute little pup there - and y'all go back to sleep! LOL!

This is wonderful Jessi and in the wee hours of the morning too, Oh girl you need to get some sleep, but WOW what an incredible design, the straw is genius.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share with us at Muse this week!
You really do keep crazy hours... but do like the comfy pants. :D and this bright birthday card!
Hey Jessi, Great job, love the pink straw peeking through in the background. Funny how we can get so inspired in the wee hours of the morning. Been thinking of you...how do you do it all girl??? Hope you will get a good nights sleep tonight!
Great interpretation of the inspiration! I'm a big fan of sleep crafting, lol! I do some of my best work half asleep;)
Now you and Abby get some rest!
I LOVE it. I love the wimsy of the the scallop edge and washi tape going diagonal and I love the pink on the purple for the sentiment and the masking...it is simply a GREAT card!!! :)

And I need those cozy looking pants of yours! It's about 55 this morning and I'm freezing my butt off right now! (Remember - stone house, no central heat, door open for Atticus.)
