Squeal! You're old!

Since the SPARKS challenge changed format to weekly, I've been scrambling and failing to play in time. It took a while for my brain to make the shift to thinking about a week-long deadline :) Checking out the fun patterns for this week's Trend Watch I knew I had to play - and use up some more of those scraps of paper that I HAD TO SAVE:
Supplies: papers from My Mind's Eye (from Emily!);
all stamps from Paper Smooches - Party Posse and Word Up;
Palette Noir ink;
Stampendous fun flock - cotton ball - for Hammy's belly;
black rhinestones; scalloped scissors & black cardstock for the trim piece;
Standard oval Nesties

So, as you can see, I was more loosely inspired by the collection of patterns than any one or any colour. This SPARKS challenge is open until Sunday night.
I have another fun Paper Smooches card to share too - the idea for this one came about while I was making this card with the coffee cup smiley face. I laid the smiley face stamp from Hot Concoctions down on top of the package containing Helping Hands (both of which I got from Barb, who seriously kicks butt, even if she DOES drink Diet Pepsi. And yes, I'm going to mention that every time now, lol!) Anyway, not putting my stamps away right away meant that I came up with this!
Supplies: image stamps from Paper Smooches;
letter stamps from PSX;
Palette Noir ink;
Adirondack Salmon dye ink; scrap cardstock; googly eyes;
1" and 1 1/8" circle punches
It's on a wobbler, so imagine someone with their fingers in their ears, wiggling, and blowing a raspberry. I drew the tongue onto the stamped smiley face after assembling (talk about risk taking, lol).   This was super fun to make - it came out just like I pictured in my head, and hopefully I'm not the only one who thinks it's funny!

xoxo!

Hammy is so cute! I'm sure I have a collection of Doodlebug flock floating around somewhere... Really must dig it out...
And I love that you have JJs card on your sidebar. Doesn't it rock?!?

Oh my goodness, this is sooooo funny! I love it! So so fun!

I have not been able to play in forever! Don't see that changing anytime soon! Ugg...with summer here, I can bet you will see less of me on the blog! Need to make more time in the day and ways to entertain children for Mommy time! :-)
