Sunshine at Little Red Wagon

This is one of my very favourite kinds of cards to make - a super-cheerful happy occasion card! In this case, this little girl is about to become a big sister - now that's a big deal :)

Supplies: dimensional stickers from stash - the sheep is made of felt!; AC Thickers and K & Co chipboard letters; gingham papers from stash; 1.5" circle punch for sun; cardstock stickers from (grey - Jillibean Soup) (green & pink - Pebbles).

The sun seemed like the perfect backdrop for a WOW! I used sparkly yellow letters to add more emphasis to the sunshine :) AND, this makes it a perfect card to pop in over at little red wagon this week!

We are definitely hoping for sunshine this week - we are going to be camping. (barf. Not my fave activity).

xoxo,
Jessi

Camping? Ew. :P I used to camp, then I think I outgrew it.
Meanwhile... this card is adorable! What a sweet idea, too.

I think if you look up "camping" in the dictionary it says: "An activity a mom does reluctantly because she loves her kids." ;-)

Great card! I'm betting the recipient will love it. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon.

Awww! Love this card Jessi, and so will Aleida! Giggled at your comment about camping. I think that is the first thing we DON'T have in common, as I love to camp - I'm talking tent camping not camper camping!! Have fun with all your boys!

The sun is brilliant and I'm loving the googly eyed animals! How did the camping go?

This is such a great idea!! The siblings so often get 'forgotten' when a new family member arrives, so this a perfect way to include her and make her feel special - and it is super cute to boot!

I had to giggle at your camping comment - I don't particularly like camping either, but if I lie to myself and say that I do, I can usually get through the weekend without acting like a bear LOL. Now that Kolton is 3, I pull the 'we need to go somewhere with a playground' card, which means there will likely also be running water and not just a river... I hope it wasn't too terrible :)

Hugs, Dawn
