Happy Bird-Day!

Yep, another entry for the SPARKS challenge - you know how much I love rainbows!

Supplies: Paper Smooches stamps; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Bic Markers; classic small oval Nesties; distress inks in Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves

This is a one-layer-ish card - I masked off the oval before stamping the chevron pattern (lining it up on either side of the mask for the longer strips). As you can see my ink pads are super juicy & bled through the mask a little - that's "party sprinkles" for the birdie. (Go with me here!)

The bird was stamped & paper-pieced twice, and the feathers bent up for extra dimension. I doodled along the last chevron at each end, used a Sharpie to edge the panel, and ta-da.

xoxo,
Jessi

I think that's gotta be a whole new card style 'one-layerish', we can all comprehend that for sure Jessi!
