Tiddly Inks is having a Design Team Call!

Tiddly Inks is having a Design Team call! They also have a biweekly challenge hosted on their blog, and I've made two cards to share with you today.

The first card is specially made for a darling little girl, using lots of sparkle! I've glammed up Mermaid Miranda  with lots of sparkle & lots of embellishments to please a five year old's palate:

Supplies: Mermaid Miranda digital stamp from Tiddly Inks; Spectrum Noir markers; Sakura Stardust glitter pen; Bazzill card stock; Cuttlebug embossing folder; AC Thickers (for name & number!); Labels 5 Nesties; 1.5" circle punch; Tim Holtz stencil; Dreamweaver embossing paste; AC yellow glitter; crepe paper; twine from stash

After colouring Miranda, I traced some of the curls in her hair with the Stardust pen. I also added a light dusting to her tail by lightly sketching with the glitter pen & then smudging it with my finger. Rather than using a light blue or grey marker to outline her, I've used pale yellow to tie in elements from the rest of the card. She just shines, like Ellie in real life!

Just peeking out at the bottom of the card, you can see the stenciled dots. I applied the embossing paste directly to the cardstock, and then sprinkled with glitter while it was still wet. A quick shot of hairspray after letting it dry helps the glitter stay put.

Some ruffled crepe paper, a twine bow, and finally a sparkly number 5 finish it off.

My second card is a simple one, perfect for a robot-loving boy - and the For the Boys challenge! I've used Mr. Roboto:

Supplies: Mr. Roboto digital stamp from Tiddly Inks; Spectrum Noir markers; googly eyes

A simple card - after colouring the image, I used a black marker to create a border on the panel. And of course, some googly eyes - because who doesn't love googly eyes?

Here are the links you'll need to participate:

And, if you too love the Tiddly Inks images, consider joining the Tiddly Inks Facebook group, where fans get to share their creations:
