I'm here for you

I played with this great medallion stamp and some watercolour paper for this simple card:

Supplies: Stampendous medallion stamp; Flourishes sentiment; Spellbinders butterfly dies; vellum & watercolour paper; Distress inks in Mowed Lawn & Peacock Feathers; Route 66 Tattered Angels glimmer mist

Using watercolour paper REALLY makes a difference! I inked the stamp with distress inks, and spritzed very thoroughly before stamping. The butterfly was made with two layers of vellum and one of white cardstock for each size.

Out on a Limb

A new spin on a favourite stamp...sorta. Popping in to play at CAS-ual Fridays with their Out on a Limb challenge, ending tomorrow.

Supplies: Stampin Up trees; PTI sentiment; Stampendous snowflakes; Memento Gray Flannel ink; Shabby Shutters distress ink; Tattered Angels glimmer mists in Olive, Key Lime, and Yellow Daisy; scrap of gold glitter paper

I masked a 1.5" circle, and sprayed with the different glimmer mists to make the background, stamped after it was dry. You can see where the mists pooled at the top edge of the card, and I love how that turned out!
