Tuesday Morning Sketches #279 - Doodle Pantry!

It's TWIST WEEK at Tuesday Morning Sketches, and we have a fun Bingo card for you to play along with if you choose to use the twist! We're sponsored by the ever-fabulous Doodle Pantry this week, and I've used Happy Birdy B as well as the diagonal choices of brads, embossing, and glitter:

Supplies: Happy Birdy B pre-coloured digi from Doodle Pantry; Nesties Labels 5; Wplus9 banner die; sentiment from Paper Smooches; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; MME patterned paper; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder; Basic Grey brad; Twine from the Twinery; Wink of Stella black pen; yellow glitter fabric paint

I printed out two copies of this happy little birdie so that I could pop up the wing & head, and then accented with glitter paint. The sentiment was stamped & then I went over it with Wink of Stella for some more glitter.

Here's the sketch from Debbie & the bingo card:

This challenge is open until next Sunday,December 14th hop on over & see what the design team has created for you!

Day Three of Holiday Chaos!

It's day three! The master post at Catch the Bug has all the challenges for the week listed, and each Inlinkz will open at 7 AM the day each challenge is set for. That way you can work ahead and link up when it opens!

Today's is a colour challenge:

I thought the beautiful Winters Fairy would be gorgeous with this palette:

Supplies: Winters Fairy from Bugaboo; papers from Memory Box; Studio Calico veneer stars; sticker hearts from Simple Stories; Spectrum Noir markers; Diamond Stickles; Tim Holtz design ruler; embroidery floss

I pierced along both vertical sides of the image panel intending to cross-stitch, and then thought I'd mix it up a little. I like it!

Make sure you head over to the master post to see what all the designers have created, and then play along for some awesome prizes!

The Challenge #20 - Tis the Season!

I've started my nap-a-thon to recover from three back-to-back shows this weekend - and I'm feeling half-human again. My voice might still take a few days to recover! This is still going to be a crazy week, though, because I returned from said shows to orders involving 60+ cards (holy moly!) I'm thinking I'm going to be postponing the bathroom cleaning I'd planned for today ;)

Here's a card I made for The Challenge #20, as part of an order for cat themed Christmas cards:

Supplies: Cat stamp from Inkadinkado; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spectrum Noir markers; SRM sticker sentiment; papers from MME; classic small circle Nesties

I've used just the sketch this go-round.

Jingle All the Way!

This one's a little naughty but FUN! I saw the sentiment in one of those Facebook photos that gets shared around, and instantly knew it had to go on a card. So I went & bought a few new Stamping Chef images &  got to work:

Supplies: image from The Stamping Chef; computer-generated sentiment; Spectrum Noir markers; Sakura Stardust glitter pen; bells!

A little fuzzy but you can see I've given her eyes, bust, and tattoo some glitz! And here's the photo I stole the sentiment from:
