Playing in Paradise #75 - Summer Vacation!

Good morning! It's Nina's turn to challenge us over at Playing in Paradise this week, and she's got us making creations celebrating Summer Vacation:

One of the kids' favourite things to do on summer vacation is the little road trips we usually take - generally not more than an hour or two away, but we do something fun and come home again. Travel ended up sticking in my head, and I created this:

Supplies: papers from Basic Grey "What's Up;"
washi tape from We R Memory Keepers;
alphabet stamps from PSX;
Vintage Photo distress ink

This piece of gorgeous paper made it very easy to create my card! I used a grid pattern from the same package to stamp out the greeting, cutting the flag end with a pair of small scissors after stamping. The washi tape is really easy to manipulate - I cut the flag ends like you would ribbon, by folding the corners together, and it easily peeled back apart & still adhered securely to the paper afterwards. I think washi tape might be made of magic. Also, I need more. I bought the We R Memory Keepers packs in aqua, green, and black...yep, three colours isn't going to cut it. This girl loves rainbows.
