Tuesday Morning Sketches #200 - Imagine That!

Look at that, 200 challenges at Tuesday Morning Sketches! WOOHOO! This week we are sponsored by Imagine That!...digis by Kris.

Kris was very generous & provided the design team with images to work with for this week, but once again the dead printer kept me from using a sponsor image. You must go check out what she's got to offer - I am drooling over that hummingbird!

The good news is that we finally replaced the printer - and my 14-year-old installed it. That was pretty amazing.

I was on a baby card binge - so that's what I made with the sketch:

Supplies: all papers are backsides from a Little Yellow Bicycle pad; sailboat sticker from Doodlebug; sentiment stamp from Paper Smooches; Gray Flannel Memento ink; Wplus9 banner dies; Timeless Twine

I don't have a wave die (or anything that would pass) so I freehanded the spiky waves. Next time I might try sketching before cutting them, but I still like how they turned out. Here's the sketch, designed by Melissa:

Don't forget to visit all the other talented ladies on the DT:

My mom is traveling across Canada today to come & visit, and her friend Tom is coming from Germany. They're meeting in Halifax & then driving down here. I'm wishing them both safe travels - and that my mom makes that connecting flight in Toronto - 35 minutes to make a connection. EEEK!

And in unrelated news, this happened in Amherst yesterday - this picture was taken on our main street:

So, kind of an exciting week :)
xoxo,
Jessi

This is an awesome baby card! Love the blocks of colour and the sweet little sailboat and your waves rock!
Moose on the loose! LOL! I am alway on the look out for moose when I'm in Canada but so far no joy. I did have a close encounter with a bear in Whistler though...

WhooHoo, wonderful news about the new printer. I know you are much relieved to have a new one in place! Your little card is delightful. Wonderful use of our sketch, and kudos for free-cutting your waves.

Yay for kids doing manual labor lol!

Loving your cheery card! I'm drawn to all things nautical, but I like the way you went non-traditional in the colors:)

I had to LOL over the moose photo. I can honestly say that's NEVER happened where I live, heehee!

Fun nautical card and I love your hand trimmed wave!

WOW! My laptop is crashing so often that it drives me crazy, can I ask your son to help me out, please?

Is that a moose? How is that to pass by your house - is it common to see such thing? COOL!

This is a terrific card, Jessi! Love the colours.
35 minutes to make a connection at PEARSON? That will be newsworthy if she does make it. ;) (I do hope it works out, of course.)
