Easter! And doesn't Edna look gorgeous with those fluffy bunny ears - she's totally into the Easter spirit :) So an easy challenge this time around with the Snarky Stampers - we want to see your Easter creations. Once again I'm snark-less...I attempted a bunny poop card, but the finished card got resounding "um, nope"s from everyone at my house, so I went with cute. Cute never fails. (Note to manufacturers - there aren't enough choices for embellishments that look like feces. You might wanna get on that.)
Supplies: Penny Black stamp; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; papers from American Crafts; Spectrum Noir markers; embroidery supplies
I stamped two images so that I could pop up the ribbon & the body of the chick, and played around with paper scraps to come up with the layout. I'm really loving the stitching in the opposite corners from the paper - and for once I got the corners perfectly aligned! Go me!
Easter is just a couple weeks away, so perfect time for you to join in with the Sistahs:
You've got until Friday, April 3rd, to join in with us!
And don't forget to stop by and leave our guest designer MAJO some love for her project!

Adorable card, love how you elevated the chick, well I could send you some real bunny droppings they are all under the bird feeder. although the cat food nuggets would be small enough for a card. BTW awesome stitching.
Oh my you are hilarious, bunny poop!!! LOL!! Even with the lack of feces like embellishments, your card that you ended up with is super duper cute!! I love the little chick!! And your stitching is the perfect touch!!!
Adorable, Jo x
You are the card Chicky yourself. I didn't even know I needed bunny ears till I saw Edna sporting them LOL. Keep smiling and creating.
Cute easter card and your opposite stitching is awesome.
This is a super cute card Jessi! I love how you popped up the chick and ribbon and your stitching adds the perfect touch.
Now _there's_ an untapped niche market... crafty feces. Someone should get on that. I suppose you could have gone organic, since bunny poop is often affectionally referred to as raisins. ANYWAY. You card is very cute! And as we've noted before, snark seems to disappear when one is buried under snow and ice. The stitching is awesome.
Cuuuuuute is right! Somehow I don't know how much feces would sell. And in reference to Lindsey's comment, i'd say it's an un"crapped" market. Snicker*
Adorable card--love your stitching, Jessi!
Oh how cute!! I made a card today that would have looked perfect with stitching on the edge like this, but I threw the towel in and added ribbon instead :) Great cross-stitching!
I'm sure this little sweetie is glad the bunny poop card got the thumbs down, he just looks so happy bouncing on the easter egg!
I have a pile of steaming poop stamp... wouldn't work for a bunny though. It's okay that you went with cute though because this darling needed to be seen and admired by all!
Ummmmmmm I'd still like to see the poop card!! LOL
That wee chickie however is totes adorbs!
The LO and stitching are cute and the image adorable. I think if you have a jelly bean looking stamp you could turn it into bunny poo
I'm laughing at all the responses! Becca's "un-crapped market" and Princess Judy actually owning a pile of steaming poop stamp had me rolling!!! This card is all sorts of adorable and glad you didn't fling poo on it. (Although, like Donna, I want to see the *koff* poo-pooed card. (wink)
LOL!! Too funny you are!! Bunny poop? IDK!! This card is so much fun and your popped up details of it are super cool!
There is a market for poop embellishments. Maybe the sistahs need to go into this. Cute card...the chick is adorable! I do want to see the bunny poop card!
