Tuesday Morning Sketches #207 - My Creative Classroom

Good morning! I think we're all still on cloud 9 after that fabulous birthday party last week - 79 players, 7 winners...it was awesome! (Make sure you check if you're one of the winners here.) We're following up the big bash with our usual TWIST week at Tuesday Morning Sketches - follow the sketch, and make sure to include the twist, for a chance to win & a spot in our hand-picked top 5. What could you win this week?

We are excited to be sponsoring Tuesday Morning  Sketches. You can view our entire class list on our website at My Creative Classroom. You can also view classes on our Facebook Page too! One lucky winner will receive a free seat to a class of their choice.....Good Luck!

This time around the twist is to use an animal image! Very simple. I decided to go crazy with some rub-ons from October Afternoon.

Supplies: Rub-ons from October Afternoon; flourish stamp from PTI; Brushed Corduroy distress ink; kraft cardstock; chocolate glimmer cardstock from scraps

I liked the way the sentiment provided grounding for the deer, so I left it that way and used a flourishy stamp to substitute for that element in the sketch:

Don't forget to visit the rest of my teamies!

AND if you haven't yet, stop by my pal Barb's blog & see what awesome goodies she's got for sale - lots of stamps & Nesties at great prices!

I'll be right back with my Shopping our Stash post :)

xoxo,
Jessi

So cute! I really like the deer stamps...they are happy!

The stamped flowers along the edge instead of the ribbon is a very nice touch. It accentuates the image!

Have a great day!

Hey thanks for the crafty plug lil one ;)

I love the CAS style of your design. I never think to use rub-ons but these are so perfect you're bang on to whip em out! Love the flourish instead of the ground :)

The party was a lot of fun, eh, Jessi!

This card is so pretty. I didn't guess it was rub-ons - but they do look great. Such a sweet and simple card with so much impact.
